Subjects Taught
Civics & Economics, Geography, U.S. History , World History

I attended Mesa Community College, Palomar College, Grand Canyon University, (Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education), and finally, American Public University (Master of Arts in American History).

I was a substitute for Temecula, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore, and Hemet school districts before coming to Noli in 2015.

I was born in Dearborn, Michigan, but we moved to the Phoenix, Arizona when I was in the fourth grade. Graduating from Cactus High School, I had dreams of going to the University of Arizona in Tucson, but it didn’t happen, so I went to U.S. Marine Corps boot camp in San Diego instead. The Marines taught me how to turn a wrench on CH-53A/D helicopters, an incredible experience that involved one year’s duty at Camp Futenma in Okinawa, Japan, the rest of the time at MCAS Tustin, California. My oldest daughter is a Senior at San Diego State and my youngest is a Sophomore at San Diego City College.
